Το μέλι πεύκου παράγεται στην περιοχή της Θάσου. Έχει σκούρο χρώμα και ιδιαίτερη γεύση με απαλές οξύτητες. Λόγω της χαμηλής συγκέντρωσης σακχάρων δεν είναι πολύ γλυκό, ενώ είναι πλούσιο σε ιχνοστοιχεία. Η κρυστάλλωση είναι φυσικό φαινόμενο του μελιού και επιβεβιώνει την γνησιότητά του.
