FIR HONEY

Fir honey is produced by the Soukas family in Karpenisi. It is one of the most famous honeys in Greece, its production amounts to 5-10% of the total honey production in our country.

It is distinguished by its good taste.

Nutritional value:

It has great nutritional and biological value. It is rich in minerals and trace elements (potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, etc.). It contains vitamins in small amounts but even this small amount helps in the assimilation of sugars in the body.

Perfume:

It is viscous with a strong woody aroma.

Colour:

It is usually dark in color, reddish or a little lighter depending on the origin.

Crystallization:

Fir honey does not crystallize.
