Flaxseed is high in:
•Vitamins and minerals, including most of the B vitamins, magnesium and manganese.
• Fiber, soluble and insoluble.
• Phytochemicals, including many powerful antioxidants, such as lignans. In fact, being a plant, flaxseed is one of the best sources of lignans.
