Halva Pistachio Shelled 400g. – Kandylas

Based on tradition and the traditional fermentation method since 1927, handmade Halvas Veroia produced by mixing excellent quality tahini (100% ground sesame of excellent variety) and caramel (produced with a small percentage of sugar). The handmade halva comes in various flavors such as vanilla, cocoa, chocolate and with the addition of nuts such as almonds, peanuts, hazelnuts, pistachios. There are also some variations, for the most demanding consumers, with the addition of fruits such as orange, cherry, raisins, cranberries, etc. All these flavors and varieties are available in different packages from 10 and 5 kg bulk to individual 100g havadaki.

It is a very widespread sweet in Greece and by extension in the Balkans and Eastern countries, which is eaten as a dessert after a meal or as a snack during the day. In Greece, it also has its honor during the season of Lent, culminating in Clean Monday, which is not missing from any table.

Its high content of tahini makes it a dessert with beneficial properties for the body such as its anti-dizziness and anti-hypertensive effect, even helping the functioning of the immune system. In general, we can say that Halvas is a 'bomb' of energy and health for young and old.
