Paprika is a condiment that is produced from grinding dried chili peppers. Paprika was introduced to Europe from Mexico, where it is native to and then was brought to the whole world. Paprika is used for its delicious, sweet flavor and bright red color. There are many variations to the spice, from sweet to very spicy, but all of them are packed with vitamin C.
Paprika is widely used to flavor and color rice dishes, sauces such as paprikash, stews, soups, meat, sausage and it is even used directly on food.
