Bancha is the traditional daily green tea. Made from ripe tea leaves and derived from the autumn harvest, the bancha is lightly baked to develop an earthy, sweet, slightly nutty taste profile and golden infusion. Bancha is also extremely used for cold tea extraction, as it has mild levels of caffeine due to its baking process.
