When making Super Pekoe, when you first add water to the tea leaves you will notice a slightly sweet aroma that fades quickly to a smell reminiscent of that of green grass on a spring morning with a heavy dew. This tea brews a dark rich amber drink that leans on the lighter side of black tea flavors. Super Pekoe maintains a subtly sweet smell throughout the drinking of tea and focuses on the subtlest flavors found in black tea families. We recommend that you enjoy this tea plain, but if you want to bring to the surface more of the sweetness add a spoonful of milk to your cup.
